I like Chief Chitwood and I think he only wants what is best for the community. Maybe he should not have said what he said in a public forum and that’s the problem. You can’t just challenge folks in front of other people. That’s when issues like this come up. Cause like Josh said it hurts relationships.

I think Cusack is quick on the defense of declaring Chief Chitwood’s comments ‘racist’ because Chitwood revealed something she should have already been aware of about Pravin’s hotel. Pravin wants to sit on a tourism board that will bring lots of out-of-state business to all the hoteliers, his in particular. I wouldn’t want to stay in a hotel subjected to prostitution and drugs. 375 calls? And the police STILL haven’t seen any improvements? No, ma’am, Cusack, that’s not racist, that’s an illegal abode of filth that no race should be subjected to check into for a room. Are you willing to be held accountable alongside Pravin the next sex sting at his hotel that will probably involve innocent out-of-state visitors? What will those visitors think of Daytona Beach hotels in Ridgewood afterwards? People shouldn’t be voted into any office by their race, but by their character. Sound familiar?
