Warner wears down Lopez

Father Lopez came ready to play but Warner Christian Academy won 52-14 in the district 3-2A opener for both teams in South Daytona tonight.
Drew Eckels threw for over 300 yards with and two touchdowns to lead Warner. He also ran for a score. Bentlee Critcher had more than 100 yards receiving with two scores and Marcus Dixon added three scores for the Eagles.
Father Lopez led 6-0 after a 13-yard touchdown run from Joe Boden in the first quarter. Boden finished with two touchdown runs and a two-point conversion run for the Green Wave.
Father Lopez actually led 6-3 after the first quarter but the Eagles got going, scoring 28 points in the second quarter to lead 31-6.
