Highschool sports: New Smyrna rallies against Seabreeze

Marcus Johnson threw three touchdown passes including two to James Clark in the fourth quarter as New Smyrna Beach rallied to beat Seabreeze 21-14 at Municipal Stadium in Daytona Beach tonight.
The win gave the Barracudas the district 9-6A title while Seabreeze must now beat Pine Ridge and Mainland the next two weeks to advance to the state playoffs.
Seabreeze (4-4, 1-1) led 14-7 at halftime behind some good play from its defense along with a Tre Rodriguez touchdown run in the first quarter and a second quarter touchdown pass from Connor Blair to Jason Hewitt.
The Sandcrabs missed some scoring opportunities in the game.
New Smryna (7-0, 3-0) also kept the ball away from them for most of the second half.
