Bethune-Cookman took sole possession of first place in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference with a 42-17 win over North Carolina Central today.
The Wildcats ran for 274 yards and had 443 yards of offense.
Isidore Jackson led the B-CU ground attack with 158 yards and two touchdowns.
B-CU’s defense also held ┬áNCCU to 234 total yards and forced three turnovers.
The Wildcats outscored the Eagles 28-3 in the second quarter.
