Ashley Thomas, Daytona Times – Voters in Volusia County began casting their ballots Election Day morning meeting a chill in the air and bouts of precipitation.
At one Daytona Beach location, the John H. Dickerson Community Center, 293 voters had already cast their ballot by 10 a.m. and hundreds more stood in the line which wrapped around the building.
