The church began in an extra room in the family’s home, with the Fuquas and their children, Phebe and Daniel.

In addition to being pastor of the church, Apostle Fuqua is principal of the Word And Praise Christian Learning Center, providing education for children age 1 through middle school. She also is the founder/overseer of I.N.S.P.I.R.E. (International Network of Spiritual Partners).
