Fire department selling breast cancer awareness T-shirts

The Daytona Beach Fire Department will be wearing breast cancer awareness T-Shirts durning the month of October. The shirts were designed by members of  the department.

131010_dt_community03October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.

“While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. We have made a lot of progress but still have a long way to go and need your help,” stated a press release.

If you are interested in purchasing one of these T-shirts, contact the administration office at 386-671-4000 or stop by fire station No. 3 located at 945 N. Halifax Ave.
