Transportation planning organization meets July 27 in Palm Coast

The River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization will hold a meeting from 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 27, to receive public input on the 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan. The meeting will be held at Hilton Garden Inn, 55 Town Center Blvd., Palm Coast.

Specifically, the public meeting is to solicit input on the draft Cost Feasible Project List. The 2040 plan must be adopted by September 2015. The organization is also holding public meetings in DeLand and Daytona Beach.

The plan is a long-range vision of the transportation needs for the River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization Metropolitan Planning Area (all of Volusia County and portions of Flagler County, including the cities of Flagler Beach, Beverly Beach and portions of Palm Coast and Bunnell).
