Mayhew to be installed as Palm Coast pastor

A three-day celebration is planned for the installation of the Rev. Mark Douglas Mayhew and Lady Sylvia Mayhew at United Evangelical & Missionary Outreach Church (UEMOC), 99 Old Kings Road North, Palm Coast.

The Rev. Mark Mayhew and his wife, Sylvia will be honored this month.

Rev. Mayhew recently was appointed UEMOC’s pastor, having served 10 years with the Florida Baptist Convention as a church planting strategist.

The Bethune-Cookman University Gospel Choir will perform on Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.On Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be a “Community Day/Meet the Pastor’’ event. The pre-installation service will begin at 4 p.m. led by Bishop Theotis White Sr. and Elder Vernether White of Zion Hopewell Family Worship Center of Gilbert, South Carolina.

The pastor will be installed at 11 a.m. Nov. 12. The service will be led by the Rev. Brian Francis and the United Evangelical & Missionary Outreach Executive Board.
