Daytona Bike Week officially kicks off on March 8 and runs through March 17. This year marks the 78th anniversary of Bike Week.
The event includes high-octane street festivals, concerts, motorcycle races, bike shows, rallies, manufacturer showcases and more.

Area universities are gearing up for their third annual Not So Noisy Bike Week Community Ride on Saturday, March 2.
Bring your helmet, your bike and a water bottle for this 8.5 mile slow paced, police-escorted bike ride through Daytona Beach.
Meet up at Daytona State College (1200 W. International Speedway Blvd.), then ride east through Bethune-Cookman University, then to the Sweetheart Trail and on to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Children are not permitted to participate in this bike ride. All riders will be required to sign a liability waiver.
