Volusia County’s Historic Preservation Board will conduct a special public hearing at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, in the first-floor training room of the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, 123 W. Indiana Ave., DeLand.
Members will consider a request for a certificate of appropriateness to make exterior changes to the historic Stockton-Lindquist residence at 244 E. Beresford Ave., DeLand.
The board is appointed by the Volusia County Council to issue certificates of designation for eligible historic resources and certificates of appropriateness for demolition, alteration, relocation and new construction.
Members also advise the County Council on matters related to historic preservation policy, including use, management and maintenance of county-owned historic resources.
