New coach, same goals for Wildcats’ baseball team

FLORIDA COURIER Over the last 16 years, Bethune-Cookman has had one of the most successful baseball programs in the nation, especially among historically Black colleges and universities. Longtime Coach Mervyl Melendez left last summer to take over the Alabama State program and the school has hired former University of Tennessee assistant Jason Beverlin.
